Yesterday, IL16 Democratic candidate for Congress, Paul Nolley, announced his campaign’s first ad buy of the race. The campaign launched a six-figure ad buy that will reach voters across the district.

The ad buy demonstrates the momentum behind the Nolley for Congress campaign. For 19 months, Nolley has been traveling across IL16, meeting voters and discussing the issues that matter most to them. Tonight viewers will see Nolley go head-to-head with Congressman LaHood in a forum airing on WTVP in Peoria and streaming throughout the district, further bringing his message to voters in the district. Nolley’s campaign is the first to ever run paid comms against LaHood.

“Our ability to get up on the air is a testament to the people-powered movement that understands this district is in play,” said Paul Nolley. “Darin LaHood sold the Illinois families he’s supposed to represent out to big pharma, defense contractors, and anyone else who sent him a check. We are holding him accountable.”

Roscoe super-volunteer Bill Malone gives tha ad flavor and character.

Tonight a watch party for the Candidate Forum will be held at the campaign office, 160 N Mulford in Rockford, from 7-9pm. All are welcome. RSVP here:
